Disappointing news

I am updating you all b/c I know many of you have wanted to know.

Bummer news: We thought we would be getting a potential court date today, but instead we found out that the courthouse is being audited and will not re-open until October 10th. We will not know anymore until at least Oct 10th. Yet another postponement and disappointment. :(

We will still try to get our paperwork processed fast, just in case they do tell us something on Oct 10th. But, even though they say Oct 10th, doesn't always mean that is the day they will re-open either.

Just be VERY proud that you are an American and live in THIS country!

I grow weary, but He doesn't!

Isaiah 40:25-31 (New International Version)

25 "To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One.

26 Lift your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one,
and calls them each by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.

Need Strength

I need prayers for strength! I found out on Wed night that we have to re-do ALL of our documents, which involves more money and time.  The meeting with the judge was postponed to next week. 

I am nervous that we will actually get a court date soon and then not have all this paperwork back in time. This just seems to never end!

I was able to do ALOT of documents yesterday, so I am feeling alot better.

We got updated pictures of Selah, which was another gift. :)  Hopefully, we will get updated measurements soon so that we can figure out what size clothes to bring.

Thank you to all of you who are praying for us, for your notes of encouragement, for your scriptures, and just your love. They help us to keep going.

Tomorrow night is a very important night! We need prayers please!!! There will be a very important meeting during our time tomorrow night. I can't be specific on here, but I am sure you are well aware of what I am talking about. :)  So please pray that a specific person's heart will soften and we will be able to go back to her place and make this legal. AND see our sweet daughter again.

God has led us on an adventure we- honestly- wouldn't change. This world is all HIS. And through this past year, I have grown in absolute love with my Savior. Isn't that what its really all about? And in the end, I K-N-O-W my daughter will be in my arms and she will be a BLESSING to our family. She has already BLESSED us and she doesn't even know it!

We believe in the Power of Prayer and we believe there is a spiritual enemy who really hates this thing that God LOVES called "adoption".  Please join us in prayer tomorrow night around 7pm until whenever you can.
