I can't believe I am finally posting this but I am.....
We are leaving Monday!!!!!!! We will head to NC on Monday to drop the boys off at Shane's Sister and his Parents house. We will spend all day Tuesday getting everyone situated and then our flight is
Wednesday at 520pm. We are flying out of Atlanta, GA.
The return date for adoptions in Kaz are always "up in the air". We have a tentative date of
Dec 31, but EVERYONE has to end up changing the return date due to the date of Court. As we know, you will know.
Please pray for:
- Seth and Gage while they are away from us for this lengthy time
- Selah's care
- Our traveling- safe and sound
- Shane and Greta's health while away- if we are sick we can't see our daughter :(
- Peace- when we see the child they present to us, to know that she is the ONE
- Speedy Court Date, so there are not too many delays
Many of you have asked us if we have a picture or information on a child. No we do not. Kaz does not give info out and we literally have NO IDEA what is in store for us. We are truly traveling blind! Of course, we are not really blind because God knows exactly who she is!!!! :) This is why our prayer has been that when they bring a child out to us, that we will JUST KNOW if it is SELAH....and I have the faith and the belief that it will happen- I WILL HAVE A PEACE. God will get all the glory!
We are going to meet our daughter!!!!!!!!!!! woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you all!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
What a great Thanksgiving/Christmas present God has blessed you with! I can't wait to read all about your journey!
You are all in our prayers,
Kim
The tears just flow when I think about the first time you will see sweet Selah's face. I can't wait for you to go, as I will be living vicariously through you until my time comes. I love ya girl! Jenn
yay!! So exciting! Yes, you WILL know, we went blind for Jabari, he was the first & only child we saw, we jut knew this was the boy God had for us. I LOVED the Karakastek babyhouse, the "cook" & caregivers can be a little overbearing but they mean well. ;) Have a safe trip, I will be praying for all of you.

God knows how everything will come to pass - just as He knew exactly where you would be the moment the call came in. And because He is in control, I have full confidence it will all work out perfectly.
I am praying for you and the boys!
Love,
Karen

I can't way to read about the way the Lord will put everything together perfectly.
We are praying for you.
We are with you in prayer; looking forward to seeing you the boys and Selah soon ~ Mark, Linda, Emily and Katie
Thank you Lord!!!! I don't know how much longer we could wait but God knows and NOW, finally, the end of the wait is in site! We are so anticipating the arrival (to the USA) of our newest grandchild, Selah, and can hardly stand waiting any longer! I love you all and will so miss you while you are over there. Love from your Mom.
I'm sooo happy for you! Be sure to bring something to pass the time on the trip out to the baby house. It was about an hour and a half drive each way from Almaty. We took IPods with music and podcasts on them. I also slept most of the time! :)
You'll know when you see her. We also were only shown one child. He was tiny but so alert and watchful. Good luck to you. We will be thinking of you! Just remember the baby will change so dramatically once you start your visits.
Hey Greta!
I'm really proud of you. Reading your comments brings joy to my heart and confirms what I have believed, that God has been at work in your life as well as in Shane's.
I love you!
Dad

I can't wait for you guys to get back so I can kiss her sweet little cheeks. What a beautiful experience God graced you with. You have been in our prayers and will continue to be.
