It finally came!!!!!!

Well, the LONGEST wait finally ended.....we got "the call" last night at 6:40 pm from our agency! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way it happened was quite funny. I dropped off Christian to his Basketball practice and I had time to spare before a meeting at the church at 7pm. So I was trying to decide where I could go to waste some time before the meeting. So for some reason I thought "oh I will go to Big Lots, I haven't been there in like 2 years". While I was browsing in Big Lots, I found some cute, cheap stocking stuffers and I was trying to manage them all in my hands while the phone rang in my purse. I kept thinking I should get a cart, but that was too far away. Then my phone rings in my purse and I am fumbling to try to get it. I pick it up and its Martha AND Becky from my agency. They were both on speaker phone and sounded like two, giddy, excited highschoolers! Excitedly, they pretty much squealed..."Greta, your LOI is HERE!!!!!!!!!!!". My first response was "no way". And then I cried like a Mother who just saw her child for the first time. I dropped all the stocking stuffers and went to the back of the store for some privacy and cried with them! They were soooo awesome and sooo sweet to me.
The hilarious part is that out of all the places in the world, I was in BIG LOTS! I have often imagined in my mind where I would be when that "call" came and never would I have thought Big Lots! lol lol lol :) A freind said that we need to juice this story up a little when we tell her in the future....."Well, Selah, I was in MACY'S browsing when the CALL came....." ha, ha, ha!

Now to business- In a week the reference numbers of the LOI will arrive and once those numbers come, we book our tickets for ASAP!!!!!!!!!! I moaned when I even heard the word WAIT, but they assured me the hardest part is over and that all families get the reference number in about a week. So, in the meantime, this week we need to PACK and double check all our paperwork. We have SOOOOOOOOO much to do! Shane and I were laying in bed last night just naming the stuff we need to get done and do before leaving and it was starting to be a little overwhelming. So tonight we are going to have a time when we sit down and make a list of everything and just check it off as we go! AS SOON AS WE GET THR TRAVEL DATES YOU WILL ALL KNOW!

Hold on while I scream for a second.......AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I am so excited that I can't even stand it! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

We are going to get our daughter so SOON now! I never thought it would happen!

We will be posting on this blog EVERYDAY while in Kaz, it will be part of our daily routine after coming back form the daily visits to the Orphanage. SO please remember that we have to password protect and I will be sending out an invitation for that in the next week or two. I need to find out how it works first.

Okay thank you for all our prayers! Keep praying. Thank you!!!!!!!

Love you!!!!

Greta,

What incredible news! This perfectly appointed time is in His care and I give praise for your little girl. If you are flying in and out of Tampa, we'd love to help in any way that we can with transportation or if you need to stay over if your flight is late or early. We are about 25 mins from the airport. Let us know.

Love, Christine Ingram

Praise the Lord! I was telling Mary Lu last night about how I met you at Play group and I was giving her the adoption update you gave us yesterday morning! The crazy part is that I was probably telling her at the same exact time you received the call! I am so happy for your family!
