Our friends, Clint and Jackie, have quickly become very good friends. We just love them. (they are just below us on the floor). The other family is American too and they are incredible also.Between the two families, there are a total of 9 children- love it!
We had "church" with them last night and I can't even begin to describe in words the worship experience we experienced! We sang to the Lord, hands raised, voices high.... to GREAT worship music. They used the powerpoint and projected it onto the bare wall in their living room. We sang as many songs as we wanted. It was an emotional time to be together as believers in a country literally on the the other side of the world, praising and adoring the same Lord- together. AWESOME!!!!! The message was AWESOME- Shane and I learned ALOT. The topic was "Who we are in Christ". Their children know scripture and love scripture. The message involved both the adults and the children.
In regards to our daughter, She must be something really special, because Satan has been trying his hardest to not have her in our family. But, he will not win. God is in total control. But it has sure been a struggle in the meantime. However, tomorrow we are going to another orphanage in this region and we are hopeful that she will be there......
Until tomorrow, we love you and still covet your prayers. We are more than blessed and we don't feel that we even deserve this incredible adventure we are on right now. Thank you Father!
Love,
greta

Father, I pray for the freedom of movement for Greta and Shane to their precious little girl. I pray for the attempts of Satan to block or discourage them to be thwarted in your power. You have told us to resist the devil and he will flee from us. In Jesus name, we call out truth to the weak and powerless devil that You Lord are the reigning King. You reign in Kaz just like in every part of the world that You created. You have created Selah, you know her name, the number of hairs on her head, you know her face and have cradled it in your hands to speak love over her. You know where she is and the road to meet her and I pray with many others who are joining in agreement that you would sustain Shane and Greta on this journey and fling open the doors on the way as you have been in the past. We praise you Lord for your tangible presence there with them in the form of your body of Christ there in Kaz, for the people who have been your hands and feet to them. Indeed, you are worthy of our praise and yet you hear our cries even now as we lift them up to you. Be exalted Lord in this journey. May this be just a part of the story that you have to tell in the lives of this family, the family of 5. Where encouragement is needed, Lord, bring it. Where favor is needed, Lord, bring it. Where power is needed, Lord, bring it. It is for your glory, for the care of one of your precious children. We worship you even in the waiting as Shane and Greta have chosen to do. In Christ's name we pray, Amen
Amen!
What a wonderful experience to have church with these new friends. This whole thing is a chance for God to grow you and what a blessing for that. Be encouraged.

We enjoyed a wonderful home church when we were in Semey and that experience forever remains etched in my heart and mind, just like this is for you.
We know the Lord will be faithful to you as you are striving to be faithful to Him. You are in our thoughts and prayers. So glad the Lord has brought these wonderful Christians in your life during this difficult part of your journey to help carry and lighten your load.
Blessings and Prayers, Beckie
This is just so awesome! When we were there, they were not doing home church...we met Sunday morning in a nightclub for church! :-) It was rather weird! But so wonderful to be able to praise our awesome Father in a godless country, on the other side of the world, in a nightclub of all places! The Christians there were incredible people! It's neat to hear about you guys being able to share in this time of worship with Clint, Jackie and the kids! I know they were SO looking forward to you guys getting there!!
Love ya, and lots of prayers!!

AMEN!!!!The harder any feat becomes is usually a sure sign that you are in God's will and Satan is attempting to thwart every good deed and cause you to faulter and become discouraged. Stay STRONG, after all, you have already won victory over Satan! Love, Mom
Love you guys!

What a beautiful prayer... and soooo true!! Continue to be STRONG.. it won't be long now before you are united with Selah.. I think we are all as excited as you are to meet her! Love you guys, Gail
anonymous... what a prayer. I must have said Amen 6 times. Selah is just waiting for the perfect time to meet you both. I will keep praying for you both. love, Ive
I want both of you to know how proud I am of you. I admire your courage. Greta, you remind me more of your grandma Goldie each day. With her in heaven, Satan best be careful when messing with her favorite grandchild. One word from her and God will put Satan through on the Job training. So when adversity strikes, look up and say, "Grandma, take care of my light work." Be sure to tell my new granddaughter that she is going to be part of a special family who loved her before she was. With love, Dad & Barb.
